Recap of All Roads Lead to Bitcoin

2024 dawned with a crypto boom! Charts were greener than Amazon forests, builders were bursting out of their caves with groundbreaking ideas, and everyone was excited about the Bitcoin Spot ETF – finally, a gateway for the masses to join the crypto revolution!

But amidst all the hype, we at Blockchained India felt a tug. We felt the need to go back to the OG, the one that started it all – Bitcoin. It's the holy grail of web3, explored by every enthusiast at least once. BTC is not just a currency, it is a beacon of hope for those crushed by traditional financial systems. For some, it's the ultimate weapon against inflation and war-torn economies.

That's why, in January 2024, we launched "All Roads Lead to Bitcoin", a four-month odyssey to explore the wild world of Bitcoin innovation. We hosted a whopping 7 physical meetups across 5 major cities – Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Lucknow – and 4 virtual summits, cumulative getting 200k+ impressions on social media! Over 1,000 people registered for the physical events, and 500+ attended these meetups.

These 10 events saw more than 50 speakers share their experiences and opinions on everything from extending smart contracts on Bitcoin to building dApps. We also delved into the economic power wielded by Bitcoin and explored the potential of layer 2 solutions like Stacks, BOB, Bitlayer and many more.

On Twitter Spaces, we went down the rabbit hole of Ordinals (which are pretty much NFTs on Bitcoin!), explored projects pushing the boundaries, and even discussed the future of this mind-blowing tech. We also cracked open the BRC 20 code, one of the most talked-about UTXO models on Bitcoin, and its real-world applications. But the party didn't stop there! We got to meet some of the brightest minds building the future of Bitcoin – startups like Catalogfi, Blocksurvey, Ordinal Hive, RunePro, Ordinox, and Runessance, just to name a few.
